Nepal Earthquake Response Program, 2015
Objectives:
- To provide emergency relief support for earthquake affected household's family in the Kavre district.
Key Activities:
- Undertake district and VDCs assessment and send the assessment report to Caritas Nepal.
- Distribute relief materials to selected earthquake affected VDCs and help Caritas Nepal distribute WASH and Food materials in additional VDCs.
- Undertake necessary coordination with the district government-CDO and DDC, District Disaster Relief Committee (DDRC) etc.
- Prepare suggestion for future rehabilitation activities to Caritas Nepal.
- Facilitation for VDC level VDC secretary, Ward Citizen Forum (WCF), Political party representative and others stakeholders jointly meetings.
- Assist for Caritas Nepal (CN) and Caritas International Members Organization (CIMOs) joint monitoring at program support VDCs.
- Participate for district level DDRC and cluster coordination meeting and presentation the relief support progress.
- Take lead role in district for mobilization of the relief distribution need volunteers.
- Provide financial and narrative report to Caritas Nepal.

The total beneficiaries from the relief distribution were 10607 female, 11277 male and 17212 children. |
