21st Annual General Assembly
Civic Forum for Sustainable Development (Civic Forum) held its 21st Annual General Assembly (AGA) on 3 Ashoj 2083 B.S. (19 September 2026) in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchok, Nepal, on the occasion of Constitution Day.
The General Assembly was chaired by Mr. Daya Shagar Tamang, Chairperson of Civic Forum, and the proceedings were conducted by Mr. Basant Kunwar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

- Presentation of the Annual Programme Progress Report for FY 2082/083 B.S.
- Presentation of the Annual Financial Report for FY 2082/083 B.S.
- Presentation and approval of the proposed NPR 25 million annual budget for FY 2083/084 B.S.
- Presentation of proposed programmes and activities for FY 2083/084 B.S.
- Review and endorsement of the organization’s Slogan, Vision, Mission, Goals, Working Strategy, Thematic Focus Areas and Core Values
- Endorsement of the Administrative Policy and Procedures, 2083 B.S.
- Endorsement of the Conflict of Interest Management Policy, 2083 B.S.
- Discussions and decisions on the organization’s future direction, institutional governance and organizational strengthening
Tribute and Remembrance
The General Assembly was inaugurated by lighting 12 candles as a symbolic tribute to those who lost their lives in the devastating Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa District on 10 Bhadra 2083 B.S. A one-minute silence was also observed in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the struggle for rights and those who lost their lives in the Bhotekoshi flood.
Key Outcome
Following extensive discussions among the general members, the proposed programmes and budget were approved, while the presented institutional policies and strategic documents were unanimously endorsed.
