Improving Access to Maternal and Child Health Care Services through Community Mobilization

Objectives:
  • Improve the WASH facilities improvement in selected three Health Post of Kavre District.
Key Activities :
  • Construction of 3 well-facilitated toilets in 3 HPs (which will be constructed as handicapped and pregnant women friendly)
  • Repaired the metallic pipes as plumbing repairing (3 HPs).
  • Construction of tap outside the toilets (3 units).
  • Handicapped chairs (6 units).
  • Supply of toilets cleaning materials (Soap (20), Bucket with 15 litre (6), Mug (6), Brush (6), Towel (6), Herpic (6)
  • Repairing the sources of water (3 sites)
  • Installation of water tank (3 HPs): Hilltake water tanks of 2000 litters’ capacity will be distributed in 3 HPs.

Improved WASH facilities beneficiaries are 11248 people; 5752 female and 5496 male in the catchment area.
