Awareness program and health camps to prevent the risk of various health problems due to consumption of tobacco and tobacco products

Objectives:
  • To aware the people about the risk created by the ingestion of tobacco and to aware them about preventive methods.
  • To conduct the health camp related to impact caused due to tobacco ingestion.
Key Activities:
  • Program Agreement.
  • Program conduction place selection.
  • Informing VDC/Municipality/DHO and DDC regarding program conduction through letter and requesting for the participation.
  • Conduction of Community level awareness creation, innovative program.
  • Conduction of School level awareness creation program.
  • Conduction of health camp related to impact caused due to tobacco ingestion.
  • Program report preparation and submission.

Major Achievements:

Date Title
367 individuals with problems from tobacco consumption were treated in the camp with related medicines.
277 individuals were benefited by awareness program, open road play.
88 students of secondary level were provided awareness against tobacco consumption.
