Declaration of three star at 5 Secondary Schools of Chaunrideurali Rural Municipality, Kavrepalanchok.

On 15th March 2024, under the Foundations for the Future (FFTF) project 3 star declaration program was chaired by ward-6 chairperson Kishor Raj Giri which is facilitated by the Civic Forum, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Basant Kunwar, under the Chief hospitality of former minister and member of Bagmati Province, Ratna Dhakal. Along with Chaurideurali RM Chairperson Renuka Chaulagain, Chief District Officer Rudra Devi Sharma, Police Chief SP Basandhara Khadka, Head of Education Coordination- Deputy Secretary Devka Dhakal, Senior Project Coordinator of WaterAid Nepal (WAN) Pramita Maharjan, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Ward Chairperson, Executive Committee Members, School Management Committee Members, Teacher Parents Association, Principal and School Family, representatives of various associations related to the education sector, heads of political parties of the local municipality and Representatives, Journalist and other participants.

Government of Nepal is implementing Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in School Procedure, 2076 and Comprehensive School Safety Framework (2017-2023) in line with Sustainable Development Goal (2015 – 2030) as well as Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (2015-2030). Wash in School Procedure, 2076 aimed to build WASH resilient school regarding to status of Water in School, Sanitation in School and Hygiene in School & measure all them with self-evaluation from School representatives with star Approach (1 star, 2 star & 3 Star). Those schools which they had achieved 3 star by self-evaluation and monitoring from Rural Municipality Chairperson, CAO, LEU head, WASH focal member etc. they had declared 5 secondary schools are eligible to achieve 3 stars in 10 indicators and fulfill all the requirements. They are Shree Buddha Himalaya Secondary School, Shree Jagriti Secondary School, Shree Prabha Secondary School, Shree Srijanshil Janta Secondary School and Shree Araniko Secondary School. All those schools were praised by honor card which is distributed by former minister Ratna Dhakal with best wishes and suggest to maintain till last it would help greatly in academic achievement.
