Local Governance and Community Development Programme (LGCDP-I)
Objectives:
- To implement the social mobilization programme at the village following the approach and modality referred in LGCDP’s social mobilization guideline.
- To develop capacity of social mobililzers and other village level stakeholders.
- To provide technical backstopping to social mobilizers for implementing social mobilization.
- To improve the quality and effective delivery of social mobilization.
- To provide feed-back and suggestions to local bodies on social mobilization.
Key Activities:
- Review the documents.
- Selection of social mobilizes.
- Conduction of basic social mobilization training (Pre-job training, On-the job training and Backstopping support to social mobilizes).
- Organize and management of trainings.
- Technical Backstopping (Resource identification and management of the VDCs, Data management (updates and reviews of VDCs profile) and Data analysis).
- Play the roles of resource during the entire program/ or Act as a resource person.
- Submission of the progress report to DSMC, LGCDP, PCU and DDC Progress.
- Financial Management.
- Oversight the social mobilization.
- Review the programme and assess the performance of social mobilizes.
- Overall management and change the modality of programme.
- Monitoring, evaluation of the program.
- VDCs based final report submission along with the recommended final tasks for the better mechanism for the future courses of action.
- Coordination, linkages, feedback and dissemination of program outputs and modality in relevant authorities (DDC, DSMC, LGCDP/VDCs, etc.).

| Prepared 7 VDCs situation analysis profile, Social resource mapping, Power and poverty mapping, Gender analysis/access, benefit and control analysis and Disadvantage household mapping. | |
| Established 7 Citizen Awareness Centre (CAC) with the total number of CAC members being 180 in total which includes 95 female and 85 male. | |
| Completed Capacity Develop (CD) and observation tour to CAC members to 7 External District VDCs with participation of 12 female and 19 male. | |
| For the Fiscal Year 2067/68 to 2069/70, forwarded 673 number of projects of 7 VDCs WCF through integrate planning committee among which a total of 314 number of projects with a total budget of NRs. 33,063,881.00 were approved. | |
| 36 project submitted to DDC council through Ilaka level planning which were selected with a total budget approval of NRs.71 lakh. |
