Vision

To build an egalitarian society based on the principles of inclusion and participation, ensuring universal access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services for all citizens, and ensuring economic equality, prosperity, and social justice.

Mission

To enhance the lives of rural communities—particularly women, children, marginalized, vulnerable, and economically disadvantaged groups, including socially oppressed sections of Nepalese society—by providing diverse opportunities for socio-economic empowerment through initiatives that promote environment-friendly sustainable development and increase access to universal WASH services for all.

Goal

  • Ensure healthy lives, inclusive and equitable quality education and ensure availability and sustainable management of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities for all.
  • Take initiatives to combat Disaster Risk-Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change (CC) impacts, conserve environment and promote sustainable use of natural resources.
  • Enhance sustainable community development, achieve gender equality and empower women, girls and deprived and disadvantaged communities.
  • Achieve food, nutrition and livelihood security, sustainably promote agriculture and eradicate mass poverty.
  • Enhance inclusive and sustainable economic growth, productive employment and decent work for all.
  • Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions.

Volunteer and Internships

Civic Forum welcomes both national and international volunteers to take part in internships in order to develop their practical skills whilst producing work that is valuable to the organization.

Clean Water and Sanitation

Clean Water and Sanitation is the main thematic area of Civic Forum's current strategic plan. We are determined to making clean water and sanitation accessible to all.

Local Needs

We engage with the locals to identify the challenges and needs of the communities. Together with them we then develop solutions that address these needs and challenges.
